A car accident causes back and neck pain as a result. A whiplash injury can happen from the force of a rear-impact accident. On most causes, injuries will strain the neck muscles, which causes pain, soreness, and stiffness.
Manual Therapy
The term manual means with the use of the practitioners hands. In our office this includes chiropractor adjustments, massage therapy and acupressure. Chiropractic adjustments or alignments help your body heal structurally for short and long term improvement. Massage therapy helps your body heal on a muscular level lessening the formation of scar tissue.
Acupressure
Acupressure is a deeper and more specific technique than massage to help eliminate powerful muscle spasms. All of these manual techniques are vital in improving movement, reducing pain and swelling so that your body returns to homeostasis.
Physiotherapy and Traction
These modalities utilize deep heat, electrical stimulation and traction to support the manual therapy techniques. Our office offers spinal decompression technology which is the most advanced form of traction to heal vertebral dis injuries common in whiplash injuries from a car accident.
Home Exercise
Home exercise instructions are given to all of our patients. They are very important to help our patients restore their strength and flexibility.

About Us
